World's First 'Floating' Apple Store

Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. Apple Inc. has 500 plus retail stores in 25 different countries World-wide, including the U.S. Now soon, it's openning World's First Apple Store that sits on Water.
Singapore is getting its third Apple store and this upcoming one also boasts a unique status - it's the world's first that sits on water.
The Marina Bay Sands store features a sphere that floats on the waters of Marina Bay. The space used to house the Avalon club from 2011 to 2016, which took up a massive 17,000 sq ft area.
Apple's iPhone has become synonymous with smartphones for quite some time now. It's a testament to the brand's public perception of quality and performance.
And it's that specific brand recognition that makes Apple one of the most valuable companies in the world, having recently become the first publicly-traded U.S. company to reach US$2 trillion in market value.
With such a high demand for Apple products, Apple stores across the globe have become more than just traditional commercial outlets. They've become standalone destinations in their own right.
Unlike other outlets scattered across the world, Singapore's third Apple store, located at the world-famous Marina Bay Sands, is the first of its kind, both in architectural design and physical location.
The space used to house Avalon, a bar and night club.
According to Apple, the Marina Bay Sands flagship "will be at the heart of creativity, a place made for people to capture ideas and passions. It will be a space for people to explore, connect, and create something new.
Singapore's first Apple store was opened in 2017, which is located at Knightsbridge mall in Orchard Road. This was also the first in Southeast Asia.
Its second store in Singapore, located at Jewel Changi Airport, opened in July last year. The store offered customers the opportunity to pick up photography techniques through an exclusive session called The Magic of Jewel Changi Airport Photo Walk. Currently, The programme has been suspended as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19.
As with every Apple store around the World, Apple Marina Bay Sands will bring the best of Apple to the customers, at an iconic location in Singapore.
OTHER ICONIC APPLE STORES ACROSS THE WORLD
Newyork Store
An iconic store in Newyork city, located right at the eastern edge of Central Park. It's a glass cube outlet. New York City's Fifth Avenue is perhaps one of the most recognizable in the world, being completely underground.
The cost of this store is as much as $2 million.
Milan Store
Piazza Liberty is the first Italian Apple Store to feature the updated Apple Store layout with areas that include Genius Grove, The Forum, and The Avenue, aka parts of the store dedicated to activities like support, classes, and shopping.
This flagship location features a huge fountain with water cascading over glass walls that customers walk through to enter the store.
Boston Store
Apple's flagship retail store in Boston does a good job at not blending in with its surroundings.
The store, which opened up in early 2008, was Apple's largest in the U.S., and featured three levels connected by an elevator and a glass, spiral staircase.
Switzerland Store
Apple's Rue De Rive store in Switzerland features a distinct ceiling with rolling arches bathed in uplighting.
Sydney Store
Apple's three-floor retail store in Sydney, Australia, takes up nearly 15,000 square feet and features a glass staircase that runs the length of the store. Apple opened this location in 2008.
Japan Store
Apple's Shinsaibashi store in Osaka, Japan, is rather unique in that its entrance is the corner of a much larger building. Visitors filter in from the adjacent crosswalk.
