Due to COVID pandemic, many businesses transformed their business activities on virtual platform and are applying various Google tools to carry out their businesses. Google has rebranded its 'G Suite' as 'Google Workspace' with some new tools like 'Meet' along with other productivity and collaboration tools etc.
'Google workspace' is a new name of 'G Suite'. It was first launched in 2006 and later in 2016 it was rebranded as 'G Suite'. 'Google Workspace' aims to provide tools such as custom and secure business email addresses, video meetings, cloud storage and support on an integrated customized platform.

Google Workspace offers paid services. Some of the services are available free with limited functions. Business houses are required to take paid services to get advantage of above mentioned tools. Google provides free trial for its services for 14 days. Google Workspace plans start as low as $6 per user per month for Business Starter, $12 per user per month for Business Standard and $18 per user per month for Business Plus.
Each plan includes: Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Chat, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Keep, Sites, Forms and Currents.
Business Starter, Business Standard, and Business Plus plans can be purchased for a maximum of 300 users. There is no minimum or maximum user limit for Enterprise plans.
Workspace provides built-in protection, global network and secure infrastructure from one dashboard. Google also facilitates training guides, tips and various learning resources for the users to make best use of the Google Workspace.
